Its been another week

Its been another week, and finally there's been time to check in with members over the comings and goings of the week . Everyone is asking the same questions, what's happening, what next, how to do more. (nothings changed, we are still due to be closed out of our only project site with no new location) Still, the show of resolve seems to have woken me out of my sense of injustice and loss which I hope didnt bore anyone too much. I have some humble pie to eat in this post (stay tuned) and some thanks, and a small announcement regarding next weekend for anyone who wants to come along and hear what others have to say about where we're at and next steps, and even contribute if you feel theres anything to add. So, first of all I owe an apology for reacting while under the influence (morphine in hospital that is) to insufficient information and ploughing into the machinations behind "the forestry school plan". To all involved, (you know who you are), my apologies and I wish ye well in your endeavors wherever they end up, as I'm sure you wish us likewise where we continue on. Regarding thanks, its to those remaining nameless who pulled me aside for a few words about how things are going and who offered solace of some kind , or expressed their own frustrations and sense of loss. Its been heartwarming and I'm personally thankful and I'm happy to say that at the Growery, whatever about how I felt about things recently, there is renewed energy and a welcoming of the next stage of things. Our ten year anniversary will be a celebration, not a funeral, and the Growery will continue to Grow, one way or the other. Thanks also to Daithí, a wandering zen monk from Bandon, and our help the last week properly Springing the garden out of its wintry phase. On the event, next weekend we will have an open community day for members and/or aspiring members. There will be a time for hearing our take on things, sharing perspectives, and you will hear about some of our plans for the year ahead. More on that during the week.
